CAM RANH’S OWN SLICE OF PARADISE
This is one of Vietnams most treasured 5 star resorts, nestled away in the beautiful city of Cam Ranh where it is a luxurious haven of serenity, seclusion and excellent service. Located directly on the beachfront, the Anam has a clear atmosphere of grandeur from the off set with its stunning architecture, design and small details you won’t find anywhere else.
You will honestly feel like royalty as you are shown to your villa, surrounded by palm trees, dense green tropical foliage and the smell of the sea breeze. It will take you no time at all to feel instantly relaxed and quite at home in this beautiful resort.
- Three swimming pools with amazing views
- 5 star customer service and hospitality
- Elegant and luxurious villas
- Directly on the beachfront
- Indulging at the on-site spa
Pool View Villa
During our stay at the Anam we opted to stay a few nights in the Pool View Villa which honestly looked absolutely incredible from the word go as it had colonial touches, with fantastic Vietnamese influences to complete the atmosphere.
Furnished with a large double sized bed, big fluffy pillows, clean linens, soft towels, bed side tables, en-suite bathroom, comfy arm chairs, a brilliant view overlooking the refreshing swimming pool, a writing desk, sofa, balcony and plenty of power points. The aesthetics of the room were on point and it made for a very welcomed nights rest.
What you get
The room comes equipped with free toiletries, complimentary water, fruits, flowers, French Dammann teas, coffee, strong Wi-Fi, two bottles of fresh mineral water daily, laundry services, air-conditioning, minibar, hairdryer, safety deposit box, flatscreen TV and cable channels. It also has a luggage cabinet with various items such as an umbrella, slippers, beach bag, sandal basket, clothes brush, sun shades and more.
The Swimming Pools
The pools are located around the resort with the main one in the centre surrounded by plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas, a swing and dining area. It is very large, clean, refreshing, and a great place to cool down, relax with a drink and even get a couple of laps in. This is honestly a great way to spend part of your day after exploring the beautiful Cam Ranh cooling down and relaxing.
The resort itself looks directly onto the beachfront and the magnificent blue ocean which is like a warm bath when you jump straight in. Head down there for the day to relax on the sun loungers with some cold drinks, a good book and maybe indulge in some of the activities down there. Or alternatively head there for sunset to witness some insanely magnificent colours as they explode across the horizon.
Wine & Dine
Located near the open-air lobby, The Indochine is The Anam’s gastronomic hub. Rich wood accents and luxurious fittings and fixtures set the mood in this multi-level dining space, while it’s terraces overlook one of the resort’s three swimming pools and are bathed in welcome slivers of sunlight by day in the glow of lanterns and candles by night.
The Anam Spa
At The Anam they have consciously incorporated the long standing heritage into the resort’s Indochine philosophy. All their therapists have been specially selected and trained in the art of Balinese massage and treatments, offering a service found nowhere else in Vietnam. To provide the best possible experience, their Balinese spa manager continues to pass on the secrets of Balinese health treatments, handed down over many generations.
The Anam offers a wide range of recreational activities from water sports to tennis to yoga plus a fully equipped gym, allowing guests to create their own agenda each day. There is definitely something here for everyone to enjoy and keep themselves entertained should they wish. Oh and of course a putting green!
Binh Hung Island
Just off the coast south of Cam Ranh Bay is the tiny rocky island of Binh Hung. It flies under the radar, with scant travel information in English available online and few foreign visitors. A tiny fishing village inhabits the western side but the rest of the island remains uninhabited and rugged, dominated by craggy boulders, dry scrub and century-old Hon Chut lighthouse. Its your own secret little island.

This lovely resort is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to stay and relax while in Cam Ranh. I am so glad that we chose to stay here for a few nights – its the ultimate colonial Vietnamese experience!
The villa was fantastic, we had a super comfortable nights sleep and really enjoyed watching the surrounding tropical palm trees from our bed and terrace. The private beach was my favourite feature as it was only a stones throw away from the resort and the staff are so friendly, they can honestly not do enough for you to make your stay that little bit more comfortable than what it already is.
You will want to spend longer
The resort is in a great location and when you throw in the three pools, spa centre, tennis courts, recreational activities and all of the other attractions you are onto a winner!
If you are in Cam Ranh, Vietnam and you want to have a unique Vietnamese experience, I would highly recommend The Anam Resort.
