One of Vietnams most treasured cities, Hoi An is most famously known for beautiful hand made suits and garments and of course the vibrant and delightful lanterns. Situated perfectly in the centre Emm Hotel Hoi An offers a superb stay during your time here offering a relaxing environment and much more.
Boasting a large outdoor swimming pool you will want to hang out by the pool to cool down from the sun and relax on their many sun loungers or enjoy a delicious drink while watching the sunset at the end of the day. The rooms are really what make Emm Hotel stand out though with its French-colonial and Vietnamese-inspired architecure.
If you find yourself in Hoi An, Vietnam then I would highly recommend booking a few nights stay here at Emm Hotel Hoi An.

Activities
The Swimming Pool
The pool is centrally located and is surrounded by plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas, pool bar and dining area. It is very large, clean, refreshing, and a great place to cool down, relax with a drink and even get a couple of laps in. This is honestly a great way to spend part of your day after exploring the beautiful Hoi An cooling down and relaxing.
Spa & Fitness Centre
For those who love a good pamper day, Emm Hotel offer a superb collection of Spa and massage treatments which well and truely get you relaxed. This is located onsite and can easily be booked through reception should you wish to indulge.
Wine & Dine at Spice Viet
This is the main restaurant of the hotel and quite frankly the best place for some delicious food from all over the world including local Vietnamese delicacies. Located on the ground floor next to the pool, this is where you can enjoy some great food. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is impeccable, be sure to order some delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
Get a custom made suit or dress
Feel like shopping? If you must pick a place for splurging on clothes, shoes and bags, make it Hoi An. There is an endless number of tailor shops (over 400!) , so many that you really won’t know which one to choose, so this is really a must do in Hoi An. Some of the shops are really cheap, but remember that you usually get what you pay for.
Visit Ellie’s Cafe
This delightful little and quaint cafe is situated not too far from the Japanese Bridge and delivers delicious heathy food and drinks to your palate. Its a lovely atmosphere and the owner Ellie is a great host providing some great conversation and dishes. I highly recommend trying to the falafel bowl or the chicken with quinoa and also Ellie’s Detox Recipe drink is quite tasty too.

See the Japanese Bridge
This is a Hoi An must do. While Hoi An has a rich heritage, it’s also not ashamed of its links with other cultures. Way back in the 1590s, the Japanese community here wanted to create better links with the Chinese quarters of town. They decided the best way to do that was to build a bridge that would cross the river, and bring the two sides together.
Day trip to My Son Ruins
This complex of abandoned Hindu temples dates back to the fourth century, and for hundreds of years it was the temple of choice for the kings of the Champa dynasty, as well as the final resting place for many of them. While it’s not as well known as Cambodia’s Angkor Wat, My Son is very much the Vietnamese equivalent, and the sense of peace and tranquility to be found here is something that will stay with you for a very long time.
Stroll along Lantern Market
Hoi An really comes alive at night, and an Hoi An must see is the spectacular Lantern Market. Every evening, the 300-meter-long Nguyen Hoang Street is transformed into a sea of color, as vendors set up stalls selling everything from handmade jewelry and clothes to delicious snacks. The whole thing is topped off- and takes its name from- the hundreds of different colored lanterns that decorate the street and illuminate the stalls. If you’re looking for an authentic Hoi An experience, then the Lantern Market is not to be missed!

Summary
This lovely hotel is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to stay and relax while in Hoi An. I am so glad that we chose to stay here for a few nights – its the ultimate modern Vietnamese experience!
The rooms were fantastic, we had a super comfortable nights sleep and really enjoyed watching the surrounding tropical palm trees from our bed and balcony. The large pool was my favourite feature as it was only a stones throw away from our room and super refreshing. The staff are also so friendly, they can honestly not do enough for you to make your stay that little bit more comfortable than what it already is.
You will want to spend longer
The hotel is in a great central location and when you throw in the close proximity to the town, temples and all of the other attractions you are onto a winner!
If you are in Hoi An, Vietnam and you want to have a great Vietnamese boutique experience, I would highly recommend Emm Hotel Hoi An.
