As new parents, we have always stated that having a baby shouldn’t necessarily stop you from travelling the world and living your best life. If anything, it’s a great excuse to let your child see the world and become immersed in new cultures, having plenty of benefits for their development.

That’s where the iCandy Peach 7 comes into its zone. It’s the perfect pushchair for first time parents and those looking for quality which rises above the rest. We were first drawn to its sleek design, interchangeable parts, travel system and high quality materials which we knew we had to have for our babies first pushchair.

As a complete travel system, the Peach 7 can hold your child from birth to 25kg. It also includes car seat adaptors which are compatible for most infant carrier car seat’s and can be attached to the pushchair frame.

Another option which stood out for us was the fact that it can be transformed from a single to a double. So, for those of you forward thinking/planning parents out there, it will easily hold a second child when you decide to grow your family. I loved the ‘drivability’ and I won’t lie when I said I tested it out to the extreme (without baby in it of course) in store making sure it would comfortably be pushed over rough terrain, do a few jumps without any speed wobble and of course just on normal flat ground. It can be turned pretty much on the spot and the thick puncture proof, ultra-smooth rolling PU tyres make it a lovely and smooth ride for both parent and child.

The pushchair is now in its seventh generation (hence Peach 7), and every element has been crafted to ensure perfection in functionality, quality and safety. What makes it so user friendly is the fact that you can open the main frame one-handed with its incorporated carry strap. This honestly makes life so much easier when you’re in a rush or just have your arms full with baby and/or baby stuff.

We loved the quality of the fabrics used, from the ergonomic leatherette handlebar, with matching leatherette swivel bumper bar to the adjustable, multi-function water repellent and SPF50+ canopy, and multi position large viewing window with mesh ventilation. The carrycot also comes with luxury fleece lining, which is suitable for permanent overnight sleeping.

It’s simple really, this pushchair is in a league of its own. We researched a number of different brands and styles of pushchairs and this one stood out dramatically to us. Our baby daughter who is now 5 months old loves to go out exploring in it and the sheer amount accessories and usability makes it a no brainer for us.

With its spacious 44 litre basket under the main carrycot, it can hold up to 10kg in weight and includes drainage holes for when the weather gets a bit wet. It comes in super handy for storing all of those extra bits that you end up carrying, whether its baby stuff or your own gear. My personal favourite feature is the adjustable handlebar, which ranges from 95cm to 105cm and works perfectly for both myself (6″1) and my wife (5″4).

As if the Peach 7 couldn’t offer any more functionality it includes an integrated Ride-on Board which is a seamless solution for a family with a new baby and toddler who is walking but still needs help. The anti-slip platform holds up to 20kg – perfect for those tired little legs.
