Phan Thiet’s Beachfront Gem
This Vietnamese resort is located in Phan Thiet, and is the perfect place to relax, with beautiful tropical scenery and the luxury of being on the oceanfront. Golden Peak Resort & Spa literally ‘wow’s’ you as soon as you arrive and greeted by their friendly staff.

Superior Garden View Room
During our stay at the Golden Peak Resort & Spa we opted to stay in the superior garden view room which was perfect for our needs and provided a very comfortable nights sleep and base for us. With fantastic tropical views right from our window, we could also the pool which was awesome in the mornings.
Furnished with a large solid wooden bed, large French doors open out onto a spacious balcony where you can look out at coconut trees and exotic plant life. Its very spacious, offering large wardrobes for your belongings, a modern en-suite bathroom, large writing desk and bed side tables, it has everything you could possibly need.

The room comes equipped with air-conditioning, free toiletries, strong Wi-Fi, safety deposit box, TV and multiple channels, mini bar, tea & coffee making facilities, fridge, clean linens and soft towels.

Activities
The 700 sqm fresh water pool is a great way to spend your day cooling off from the hot sun while you sunbathe on their super comfortable sun loungers surrounded by luscious green palm trees and the chirping of the local birds. They also have a pool bar where you can stock up on cold drinks and get some yummy snacks to keep you going until dinner time.
The Private Beach
Literally a stones throw away from the swimming pool is the gorgeous golden sandy beach which is also lined with sun loungers which you can relax on throughout the day taking dips in either the pool or the ocean – your choice.
Spa and Wellness Centre
If you feel that the pool and beach isn’t relaxing enough for you, then you’re in luck! They have an on-site spa and wellness centre where you can be pampered until your heart is content.
Jeep tours at the Sand Dunes
Jeep tours at the white sand dunes is a new activity in Mui Ne recent years. If you rent a bike, then get to the white sand dunes to enjoy a joy ride there. It will take you through unpaved roads along with gorgeous stretches of Vietnamese suburb.
When you get there, enjoy white dunes of about 25 km on the rented Jeeps or quad bikes. The white sand dunes are away from Mui Ne’s center area. After having fun there, you can walk over the lotus pond and spend your afternoon to watch the romantic, peaceful view of sunset.
Visit the Mui Ne Fish Market
In early morning, the chaotic market of Mui Ne provides an attracting peek into the daily life of local fishermen. Each morning, they get fresh caught seafood to the shore. Their family members sort out all the catch and sell it to local traders, street food vendors and restaurant owners. This picture is somehow like a trading floor out of a Wall Street institution.
Visit the Red Sand Dunes
In case you do not have enough time to explore the White Sand Dunes, then definitely check out the Red ones. They stretch just a few kilometres from the centre and can be reached by foot. This will give you an experience like being in a desert, but right next to the beach and all of the resorts and hotels making it a nice and easy trip.

We stayed in July 2019 and for our Superior Garden View Room it would cost 1,311,472 VND (£43) per night.

Summary
This resort is a bit far away from the man centre and Mui Ne but if you want seclusion and remoteness then this is the perfect place to stay while in Phan Thiet.
The rooms were fantastic, we had a super comfortable nights sleep and really enjoyed watching the surrounding tropical palm trees from our bed and balcony. The swimming pool and beach were my favourite features and the staff are so friendly, they can honestly not do enough for you to make your stay that little bit more comfortable than what it already is.
You will want to spend longer
The beach resort is quite sleepy but the views are breathtaking and you will find yourself soaking them up the whole time you’re there. When you throw in the close proximity to the sand dunes, Spa and all of the other attractions you are onto a winner!
